About the role
As a result of the continually growing demand for our specialist services, we are looking for an individual to join our expanding Global Mobility team in the National Employer Solutions department, as a compliance and advisory Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Actively working across a number of client accounts simultaneously, ensuring a premium client service by managing day-to-day client relationships and expectations.
* Supporting the successful delivery of advisory projects, ensuring technical excellence with a practical and commercial approach.
* Managing UK tax and social security compliance programs across a client portfolio (tax returns, payroll, tax briefings, social security compliance), ensuring all deadlines are met.
* Coordinating UK headquartered global mobility programmes.
* Collaborating with Partners, Directors, and/or Associate Directors to develop new business and expand existing client work, involving other colleagues, departments, and/or services when appropriate.
* Handling day-to-day financial requirements of managing a client portfolio, acting as the first point of management within that process.
* Acting as a people manager to junior staff, providing coaching, training, and career development support.
* Reviewing personal development and career aspirations, attending career conversations with line managers to ensure growth and support.
* Performing any other duties within the scope of the role as requested by line managers or Partners.
About the ideal candidate
This opportunity is suited to a self-starting individual who proactively takes responsibility and works in a dynamic environment. You should have a strong foundation in expatriate tax and international social security, with an understanding of cross-border client complexities. Qualification in ATT and/or CTA or equivalent is required, with the ability to communicate technical matters to non-tax specialists. Proven experience in leading queries and managing multiple engagements is essential.

* Strong risk awareness and review capabilities.
* Commercially aware with financial monitoring skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with strong client relationship skills.
* Experience in coaching and motivating team members.
