Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to carry out day-to-day maintenance and reactive repairs across social housing properties in Swindon. This is a hands-on role suited to a reliable, well-rounded multi-trader who can turn their hand to a variety of trades while working in occupied homes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out a wide range of responsive and planned maintenance works within social housing properties
2. Undertake repairs including:
* Basic plumbing (leaks, taps, toilets, sinks)
* Carpentry (doors, locks, skirting, kitchen units)
* Plastering & patch repairs
* Painting & decorating
* Tiling & minor flooring repairs
* Basic electrical work (non-certifiable tasks)
3. Complete jobs to a high standard, first-time fix where possible
4. Work professionally in tenants' homes with a strong customer-focused approach
5. Follow health & safety procedures and company policies at all times
