Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing)
Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Shifts: Days and night shifts (every other weekend off)
Location: Newcastle Emlyn
Overview
Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced and motivated Maintenance Engineers to join our team. This role involves carrying out both preventive and reactive maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will be multi-skilled, with the ability to work safely and effectively on process equipment, including both electrical and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with maintenance schedules
* Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance
* Diagnose faults and implement effective and lasting solutions
* Ensure all work is completed correctly the first time
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures
* Accurately record maintenance activities using internal systems
Skills and Experience Required
* Time‑served apprenticeship in an industrial or manufacturing environment
* Multi‑skilled engineer with both electrical and mechanical competencies
* Experience working with process or dairy equipment is advantageous
* Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
