At Southern Airframe we overhaul, restore and recertify commercial aircraft parts to the highest of global standards. The refinishing of these flight critical parts is extremely important to us and our customers.
Responsibilities
* Assessing damage and wear to determine necessary repair procedures
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs
* Remove, repair, or replace damaged panels and components
* Prepare large components for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer
* Ensure all repairs meet the required standards and manufacturer specifications
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines
Skills
* Decent mechanical knowledge
* Competency in spray painting, paint prep and bodywork repairs
* Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, and screwdrivers
* Experience with power tools including grinders, sanders, and spray guns
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs
* Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work to the specification laid out.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
