We are the largest NFU Mutual Agency in the United Kingdom managing in excess of £ 35,000,000 in gross written premium with a strong focus on commercial and corporate business.
Our Head Office is based in Warwick, and we have 3 other offices also serving the wider the Central-South Warwickshire and Pershore geographies.
Role Description
This is a full-time role as a Mid-Corporate New Business Development Manager. The role involves prospecting and engaging with clients to grow the mid-corporate and leading the quote process ultimately securing new clients to support the Agency’ growth ambitions.
This individual will need to have a real passion for sales and a relentless hunger for securing insurance reviews. They will possess skills in a number of other critical areas including the ability to get through the door/email gatekeepers, delivering thought provoking communications, bespoke sales presentations, conducting full new business fact finds, and clearly articulating opportunities to underwriters to obtain their buy in and driving overall sales growth.
The role is based in our Warwick Office, but the expectation is that you will be out on the road the majority if time prospecting, networking with businesses and undertaking commercial and mid-corporate reviews with clients fuelling Agency growth.
Qualifications
* New Business Development and Sales skills
* Clear experience and a track record of generating leads and winning business
* Experience in creating and delivering sales presentations
* Proven ability to close deals
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
* Knowledge of the insurance industry and the ability to undertake full fact finds with clients subsequently presenting the risk to underwriters
