Morgan McKinley is proud to be partnering with a rapidly growing international organisation based in Swindon, in the search for a German-speaking Credit Controller to join their dynamic Accounts Receivable team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is looking to work for a well-established yet forward-thinking global company.
The Role:
As a Credit Controller, you will take full ownership of the Accounts Receivable ledger for the German market, working with key locations across Europe. This is a hybrid role offering a mix of home and office-based work from their Swindon site.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing collections across the German ledger and ensuring timely cash flow
* Setting up new customers and performing credit assessments
* Leading weekly debtor reporting, including bad debt and cash projections
* Running monthly close procedures and reconciliations
* Partnering with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve aged debt
* Holding debtor review meetings and making recommendations for improvement
* Uploading GL data and maintaining ledger accuracy
About You:
* You're an experienced Credit Controller or Finance professional with a track record of managing large, complex ledgers
* Fluent in German (essential) - verbal and written
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
* Able to work to deadlines and maintain high levels of accuracy under pressure
* Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team
