Responsibilities
1. Manage a large load of daily administration via a work queue to ensure all RFQs and purchase orders are transacted and chased.
2. Ensure close cooperation with Internal Customers (MRPCs, requisitioners) to ensure customer care and early involvement.
3. Manage a portfolio of suppliers, negotiate price increase requests, and resolve issues pertaining to invoicing/payment.
4. Contribute to the implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g., compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems).
5. Update supplier evaluation systems to obtain and develop the best suppliers and ensure transparency and high procurement quality.
6. Maintain records of all documentation, adherence of online purchasing, and contract management systems.
7. Support and/or lead Procurement Business Plan activities.
Experience
* Strong SAP transactional experience.
* 3+ years of experience in Direct Procurement.
* Team player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals, and objectives.
* Ability to work in a complex, fast-changing global organizational environment.
* Good admin experience, preferably in a high volume environment.
