The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Communications Engineer to join our team in Tamworth. Reporting into the depot management team, you will take overall responsibility for ensuring Communications equipment i.e two way radios, duplex comms, powered air respirators and IT routers is maintained, inspected, and repaired to the highest possible standards. Your work will play a key role in minimising equipment downtime, reducing breakdown costs, and ensuring customers receive fully compliant and reliable equipment for hire.
Working closely with depot colleagues, you will carry out detailed inspections, preventative maintenance, and fault diagnosis on returned equipment, ensuring all items meet safety, operational, and quality standards before rehire.
