Description
As aProject Manager, you will be responsible for the operational andfinancial performance of the contract; delivering the work safely,on time, in budget and to our Client’sexpectations.
Wehave secured a long-term contract with SSE, providing supportacross their Overhead Line, PCB transformer Changes and variousdismantlement schemes across 11KV and 33KV.
KeyResponsibilities
We are looking forsomeone to:
* Ensure all work within the contract under your controlare carried out in full compliance with health, safety, welfare andenvironmental regulations, while working to maximize theprofitability of the contract and ensuring satisfaction ofcontractual requirements
* Ensure compliancewith the client’s authorisation requirements and specifications,with the company standards of service and qualitysystems
* Control documentation, workingclosely with the back-office support team
* Ensure that the health and safety competence ofsub-contract organisation and direct labour are assessed prior tocommencing work
* Assess the risk associatedwith our operations and ensure that the correct site-specificmethod statements and risk assessments are compiled in advance ofworks
* Have a keen eye on the commercials ofthe contract, making sure we can deliver for our clients andmaintain profitability
* Manage allresources e.g. labour, materials and plant
* Take pride in our delivery, and make repeat business ameasure of success
* Demand safety andcompetence, including training requirements, and push forimprovement in all teams
* Manage and motivate ateam, delegating where appropriate, but leading byexample
* Have an ordered approach to thedevelopment of the people in your area
Experience andQualifications
* OverheadLine, PCB transformer Changes and various dismantlement schemesacross 11KV and 33KV
* Supervisor Streetworks qualification
* Health & Safetyqualification an advantage
* Exceptionalcommunication skills
* Good managementskills
* Commercial awareness
* Clean Driving Licence
