Junior Sous Chef

We are seeking a Junior Sous Chef at Fairfield House Hotel. In this role, you will work closely with the Head Chef and other senior chefs in leading the kitchen team, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. You will play a key role in maintaining RAD Hotel Group's culinary excellence while adhering to food hygiene and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
* Support the senior kitchen team in the daily operations of the kitchen
* Help to oversee and guide junior kitchen staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard
* Cook and plate dishes according to the established recipes and presentation guidelines, ensuring taste, quality, and visual appeal
* Communicate effectively with all kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations
* Adhere to all food safety and health and safety regulations and procedures
The successful person will look like:
* Previous experience in high volume and fast paced kitchen will be highly beneficial
* Previous experience at Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef level
* Creative with eye for detail
* Organised and good time management
* Good communications skills
* Passion for food

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.50-£14.25 per hour
