You'll join a close-knit team delivering goods to regular customers across South Devon. There's no long-haul, no nights out, and no micromanagement - just solid, reliable work with a monthly bonus scheme on top of your salary.
What the job involves:
Scheduled deliveries to local businesses
Secure loading, unloading and checking goods
Handling occasional payments and basic paperwork
Customer interaction - a friendly, helpful attitude goes a long way
Looking after the vehicle and reporting any issues
Helping in the warehouse when needed
Shift Info:
Start around 05:00 each day
Full-time hours - Monday to Friday
Paid temp-to-perm route through Driver Hire
What you'll need:
A valid Category C (Class 2) licence
CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
No more than 6 points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
Fit enough to lift, move and deliver safely
Your own transport to get to and from the depot
What you'll get:
£16.21 per hour (PAYE Advanced)
Weekly pay via Driver Hire (PAYE)
Two-week paid training plan - start as a driver's mate and work up
