What you’ll be doing… Role purpose: The Senior Client Host is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the client floors. The role provides a warm, professional welcome and ensures client and visitor needs are met efficiently throughout their journey. The primary focus is to ensure a consistent delivery of exceptional service experiences to clients and partners on the client floors, creating memorable service moments. Key responsibilities Operational skills and duties Consistently deliver high-quality services that meet or exceed client, customer, and company standards. Be visibly present near client rooms to welcome and greet clients and their hosts. Liaise with Guest Services (GS) to understand the purpose of meetings and where appropriate, address clients by name. Strive to exceed client expectations and foster a client-focused environment within the team. Oversee daily menu preparation, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of all menus and allergens by working with the catering coordinator and chefs. Understand the range of products offered, including food and wine pairings. Ensure the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness across all equipment and front-of-house areas. Obtain and act on feedback from hosts and clients. Maintain a full understanding of the entire visitor journey and proactively coordinate all available services, including catering, IT, AV support, and cleaning. Manage and coordinate client responses promptly and professionally. Oversee stock management on the floor, adhering to all food hygiene protocols. Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures (SOPs). Actively support and implement systems to reduce food waste. Carry out any other reasonable requests by management. Interpersonal skills and duties Act as a role model within the team, demonstrating professionalism at all times. Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and non-verbally, with colleagues, reporting lines, and clients to support visitor excellence. Attend all relevant training and development courses as required. Collaborate with chefs to ensure food and service are compatible and reflect the required standard and image. General skills and duties Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, flexibility, reliability, strong work standards, tenacity, and effective time management.
