Are you looking for an exciting new challenge where no two days are the same? Then this might be the role for you! We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join one of our specialist secondary schools in the Bolton area. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offered through our agency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs in a classroom and 1:1 setting.
* Assist in the implementation of individual behaviour and learning plans.
* Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to support student progress.
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with SEMH students in a school setting is essential.
* Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, empathetic approach.
* Ability to build trusting relationships with students and staff.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
