Workshop Controller - Located near Wigan
Join our client's busy and reputable dealership network in Wigan as a Workshop Controller. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee the workshop operations at a well-established multi-franchise dealership. 1. Competitive basic salary of £36,000 per annum, with an OTE of up to £40,000
2. Full-time, permanent position with hours of 44.5 per week
3. Hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with alternate Saturdays from 8.30am to 12.30pm

Key duties of the Workshop Controller include:
8. Managing large workshops loading and technician scheduling to optimise productivity
9. Overseeing daily workshop activities across multiple sites
10. Liaising effectively with parts and service teams to ensure smooth workflow
11. Diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently
12. Managing internal and prep work alongside retail tasks
13. Ensuring high standards of customer service and satisfaction
14. Upholding warranty processes and documentation in adherence to manufacturer standards
Requirements for the Workshop Controller position:
15. Proven experience in a similar workshop supervisor or control role within a multi-franchise dealership
16. Knowledge of Kerridge, RTC, or similar dealership management systems
17. Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
18. Strong organisational and time management abilities
19. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
20. Good IT literacy and a passion for maintaining high service standards
21. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet targets
