In this role you will be working across different Primary Schools within your local area.
You could either be working as a general Teaching Assistant supporting the class as a whole, conducting small interventions or working on a 1:1 basis with pupils who may need extra support.
About the role
In this role you could come across many different types of work!
- Provide assistance to the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities, including preparing materials, setting up equipment, and managing resources.
- Engage with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives, assist with understanding concepts, and provide additional support as needed.
- Supporting with behaviour management within the class and help implement the schools behaviour policy
- Support pupils with different Special Educational Needs
- Conduct small interventions where needed to help with pupils progress
-Feedback to parents and other members of staff
About the school
The schools you will be working in will range in size, however will be based in the Sandwell and surrounding areas.
You could be based solely in one school, or placed in a number of schools and work on a day to day basis.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Primary Teaching Assistant you will:
* Have experience working with children that we can reference
* Be available from 08:30 - 15:30 on the days you choose to work!
* Be adaptable and flexible
* Have good understanding of different pupils needs
* Be passionate, considerate and motivated!
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* Experience working with children that we can reference
