Mental Health Practitioner – CAMHS Crisis Location:Oxford (NHS)
Contract:Full-time, Monday to Sunday (Flexible Rota)
Pay Rate:£27 Ltd / £21.71 PAYE (excluding holiday pay)
Service Care Solutionsare currently recruiting for aMental Health Practitionerto join a CAMHS Crisis Team on behalf of one of our NHS clients based inOxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified mental health professional with experience in urgent assessments and crisis intervention for children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct urgent assessments of children and young people presenting with high-risk mental health concerns
* Deliver crisis intervention and short-term support to service users and their families
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external agencies
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with NHS standards
* Participate in risk assessments and contribute to safety planning
Requirements
* Professional qualification and current registration in one of the following:
* Social Work (SWE)
* Mental Health Nursing (NMC)
* Occupational Therapy (HCPC)
* Experience in risk assessment and management across various settings
* Proven experience working with children and young people with complex mental health needs, or within child protection, abuse, and parenting services
