A vacancy has arisen for a Band 2 Clinical Support Worker / Echocardiography Assistant within Cardiothoracic Services at C&VUHB.
The Cardiac Physiology Department is a vibrant and busy department providing tertiary services to South Wales.

There is a strong emphasis on both professional and service development withinthe Cardiothoracic Directorate,with opportunities to gainskills and qualifications in ournon-invasive services.
The successful applicant will be expected to work at the University Hospital of Wales.
Candidates should possess well developed interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to support individual and team working.

Four GCSE's Grades A-D which must include English
NVQ level 2/3 in a healthcare related subject or equivalent
Clerical / admin experience
Competent use of computers
Knowledge of hospital patient management or similar IT system
Understanding of Data Protection and confidentiality
Personal Qualities
Commitment to providing a high quality patient centred service
Flexible approach to role and working hours to meet service demands
