* STRABAG UK are seeking an highly motivated Health & Safety Advisoropportunity to join a high-performing project teamwithin the growing Build Sub-Division.
* The HSW Advisor will support the HSWManager in driving strong Health, Safety and Wellbeing performance across theproject. The role is site-based at Radlett, supporting a diverse portfolio ofworks including self-delivery, civils, earthworks, and roadworks.
* Located at the former Radlett Aerodrome site inHertfordshire, SEGRO Logistics Park Radlett will deliver a state-of-the-artrail freight terminal complete with extensive distribution warehouses and over600 acres of enhanced green space.
* The development aims to shift freight transportation from road to rail,significantly reducing carbon emissions and road congestion.
* Construction is anticipated to take place over the next three years.

Requirements
* Support the delivery of ahigh-performing Health, Safety and Wellbeing culture across projects,including the STRABAG Better Together programme
* Provide HSW advice andguidance to operational teams and supply chain partners
* Support the planning anddelivery of works to ensure risks are identified, assessed, andeffectively controlled
* Review and support thedevelopment of Safe Systems of Work, including RAMS, ensuring they are suitableand sufficient
* Promote the reduction ofrisk through effective planning and implementation of controls
* Monitor site activities andundertake inspections, audits, and assurance activities, producing clearreports and supporting timely close-out of actions
* Support delivery teams inplanning and carrying out assurance activities
* Support incident reportingand investigations, identifying root causes and ensuring effectiveimplementation of corrective actions
* Develop HSW documentation,including toolbox talks, briefings, investigation reports, and improvementcampaigns
* Support the management ofHSW data, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of incidents,observations, inspections, and performance metrics
* Analyse data and trends toidentify risks and opportunities, supporting continuous improvement
* Engage with the workforceand supervision to promote a positive HSW culture, encouraging feedbackand escalating issues where required
* Challenge unsafe behavioursconstructively and promote high standards of HSW performance
* Support the delivery oftraining, briefings, and occupational health and wellbeing initiatives
* Build effective workingrelationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
* Work with the HSW team andwider organisation to share learning and promote best practice
* Escalate key HSW risks andissues to management as appropriate
* Contribute to thedevelopment and continuous improvement of HSW systems, procedures, andstandards
* Maintain professionalcompetence, including relevant qualifications and professional membership
* Ability to meet therequirements of site-based working
