As the Turning Cell Lead, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities including:
* Preparing, programming, setting, and operating CNC machines for turning and drilling operations.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to understand specifications and desired outcomes.
* Translating instructions into computer programmes to ensure machinery functions correctly.
* Supervising production cycles while making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
* Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations and ISO 9001 standards.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* An engineering apprenticeship (desirable).
* Proven experience as a CNC turning operator/setter/programmer.
* Proficiency in operating workshop machinery, tooling, and precision measuring equipment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude coupled with good mathematical skills.
* A keen eye for detail and effective communication skills.
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently as required.
