We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and committed individual to the post of Engineering Officer within our Lighting Team.
You will provide engineering / technical services as necessary within the client, operations and consultancy functions of a Roads & Transportation Service.
You will be an experienced individual, preferably Incorporated or Chartered Engineer, or someone that can demonstrate that they are working towards this.
You must have (as a minimum) an HNC in Engineering, or equivalent in a relevant subject, and be able to travel across South Lanarkshire.
Main duties are:
1. Provision of electrical and lighting design, estimating, installation and project management services.
2. Implementation of Electrical Inspection & Testing and Routine Maintenance Programmes to ensure compliance with Statutory and Departmental requirements.
3. Assisting with the management of performance to ensure that Statutory and Key Performance Indicator values are maintained at or above current levels.
4. Ensuring timeous and efficient processing of instructions and payments for General Maintenance and Discrete Projects.
5. Assist in the delivery of Festive Lighting provision.
6. Performance Auditing and Productivity.
7. Provision of electrical energy load and cost analysis and estimating function.
8. Assist in preparing statistical data for A.P.S.E. & R.A.M.P. returns.
9. Analysis and approval of Electrical / Lighting elements of Construction Consents and Planning Applications.
