Overview
At Somerset Council, we are proud to support our frontline workers with access to innovative AI technology. We are currently utilising Magic Notes, which helps social workers reduce administrative work, allowing them to focus on their skillset and creativity to support our shared vision of improving the life chances and outcomes for children in Somerset.
Working within the Children Looked After (CLA) service, you will have the opportunity to support profound changes in a child's life, building long-term relationships to promote ambitious outcomes. Permanence is our passion for children in our care with a focus on connection/reconnection with families wherever possible. We are looking for Social Workers who are passionate and enthusiastic to join us in improving outcomes for our most vulnerable young people.
Somerset is a Good Local Authority and we strive to be Outstanding. You will need to be a qualified social worker registered with Social Work England and have experience working with children and families in social work. We offer an environment that is supportive and rewarding, with flexible working arrangements and strong technology support to stay connected with your team and manager.
