Summary
We are seeking a talented Chef to join our team at The Bell, located in the heart of the village. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to exceptional food and local ingredients.
Responsibilities
* Oversee kitchen operations to ensure high standards of food quality and safety.
* Prepare and cook dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
* Manage kitchen staff, providing training and support as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
* Develop new menu items that align with our culinary vision.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications * Proven experience as a Chef in a similar environment.
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
* Excellent cooking skills with a passion for quality ingredients.
* Leadership abilities with experience in managing a team.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff.
* Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
