What you'll do
* Lead the design, development and maintenance of software applications, ensuring quality, efficiency and performance.
* Collaborate with the Platform Engineering team on tooling, CI/CD and deployment process improvements.
* Produce clean, maintainable, scalable code.
* Debug, resolve issues, fix bugs and optimise performance across the stack.
* Provide technical direction to the team through code reviews and mentoring.
* Stay up to date with emerging technologies and apply learning to improve development processes.
* Create and maintain accurate documentation for design, code, tests and user‑facing technical materials where required.
* Act as a liaison between Engineering and Senior Management, communicating progress, risks and technical challenges.
Who you are
* Strong commercial experience with C# .NET.
* Solid SQL/MySQL experience.
* Proven experience developing enterprise‑grade single‑page applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with strong expertise in modern frameworks.
* Confident with Git and source control best practices.
* Strong grasp of OOP principles, design patterns, software design and architecture.
* Experience with TDD.
* Proven experience working in an Agile environment.
* Excellent collaborator and communicator, with a problem‑solving mindset.
