Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and accounting, with proficiency in various accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of our organisation and will involve managing accounts payable, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Duties
* Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with established guidelines.
* Manage accounts payable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
* Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to support strategic planning.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
* Conduct regular audits of financial processes to identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support business decisions.
* Maintain accurate records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
* Prepare detailed reports for senior management regarding financial performance and operational efficiency.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within a finance department.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
* Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero.
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
* A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
