In this role, you will take ownership of projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery to the highest standards, on time and within budget. You will be the key link between clients, suppliers, and site teams—making sure that communication is clear, customer satisfaction is prioritised, and projects achieve the expected margins.
This position involves travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays. A full UK driving licence is essential. Experience in the construction industry or similar technical disciplines will be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
* Define project scope, structure, and resource requirements.
* Liaise with customers to confirm and update project plans.
* Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
* Coordinate supplier/manufacturing capacity and procurement schedules.
* Manage contract variations and customer relationships.
* Oversee procurement, lead times, and client approvals to ensure deadlines are met.
* Monitor project progress through site visits and regular reviews.
* Identify risks, assumptions, and project issues; produce and update RAMS accordingly.
* Ensure compliance on site through ongoing checks and documentation.
* Prepare and deliver O&M manuals upon project completion.
Skills & Experience
* Essential: Strong IT skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Preferred:
* CSCS card (Manager's Card highly desirable).
* Level 6 NVQ in Project Management (training available for the right candidate).
* CITB SMSTS (training available).
* Demonstrated ability in financial and cost management of projects.
* Excellent communication and customer-focused approach.
