Overview
We're working with Knowsley Council who are looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join their Children Looked After (CLA) team. This is a brilliant opportunity to make a real impact with a supportive authority that values its staff.
Responsibilities
* Carry a manageable CLA caseload where quality practice comes first.
* Act as a strong advocate and corporate parent for the children you support. Work closely with foster carers, residential teams, schools, health professionals, and more creating the wraparound care every young person deserves.
* Focus on permanence planning to give children long‑term stability, whether through fostering, adoption, or family reunification.
