We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company in Poole. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the efficiency and reliability of production equipment.
Role Details:
* Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer
* Location: Poole
* Salary: £50,000 per annum
* Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
* Shift Pattern: Panama shift 12 hour days and nights
* Department: Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
* Ensure all engineering work meets safety, health, and environmental standards.
* Support production teams with technical expertise to maintain efficient operations.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS system.
* Work with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
* Follow engineering drawings and update documentation when necessary.
* Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Requirements:
* Recognised qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Level 3).
* Experience working in a maintenance/engineering role within a manufacturing setting.
* Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Good understanding of production processes and manufacturing equipment.
Desirable Skills:
* PLC knowledge (Siemens S7, Mitsubishi).
* Experience with inverters, robotics, and safety regulations
