We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Order Administrator to work in Leicester as part of a small team where career development is available for the right candidate. Our client can offer flexibility with hours, either 9am - 5:30pm or 8am - 4:30pm.


As the Sales Order Administrator, you will:

1. Drive the standard of customer service levels through efficient administration.
2. Take ownership and responsibility for managing the effective administration of processes and procedures for supplying our products to major retail customers.
3. Maximise service levels to provide exemplary service to customers.


Your key responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring efficient processing of customer orders.
2. Managing customer expectations regarding high service levels.
3. In conjunction with the Account Manager, managing cordial relationships with staff in designated customer departments.
4. Ensuring customer enquiries and queries are dealt with accurately and effectively within reasonable time frames.
5. Liaising with internal departments to achieve required customer service level standards.
6. Assisting and supporting Account Managers in managing customer business and relationships.
7. Maintaining a pivotal role in the supply chain as the stock provider for major customers.


To be successful as the Sales Order Administrator, you must:

1. Have experience in processing orders.
2. Be able to self-manage multiple resources and handle diverse tasks.
3. Communicate effectively at all levels through various mediums (written, verbal, video, and face-to-face).
4. Exhibit strong attention to detail and an analytical approach to process management.
