This may be the role for you!Reed FE are seeking a dedicated Technician in Art and Design to join a great team in East London. This temporary position offers a dynamic working environment where you will support the Art and Design department.
Technician in Art and Design
* Hourly Rate: £15 ph
* Location: East London
* Job Type: Temporary (term time only )
* Working Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Day-to-day of the role of an Art Technician:
* Provide technical support to the Art and Design department.
* Prepare materials and equipment for classes and projects.
* Assist in the maintenance and organisation of art supplies and equipment.
* Support students and staff in the safe use of equipment.
* Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed in the studio and workshop areas.
* Collaborate with staff to enhance the learning environment for students.
Required Skills & Qualification for Art Technician role:
* Relevant technical experience in art and design settings.
* Familiarity with the equipment and materials used in art and design.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe and creative learning environment.
