Role Summary

Costello Medical are growing rapidly, in the UK and globally, thanks to demand from new and existing clients. In January 2024, we hit the milestone of 400 global employees and, before the end of the year, we are forecast to reach 500 global employees. Our Recruitment Administrator role is ideal for someone looking to join an organisation with extensive, global growth plans. You will have responsibility for all stages of the recruitment process for various positions across our service offerings and offices, and you will play a central role in delivering an excellent recruitment experience for all candidates. In addition to this, you will work on our strategic approach to recruitment and candidate attraction, which involves working closely with hiring managers to ensure our recruitment efforts keep pace with company growth, as well as innovating our recruitment processes. You will also be involved in projects relating to talent acquisition, for example the coordination of our attendance at university careers fairs, as well to the wider People (HR) function as we continue to innovate our practices. We are a friendly and ambitious team, and we are looking for somebody who is as passionate as we are about delivering exceptional levels of customer service both to our internal colleagues and to candidates.
Key responsibilities will include:
7. Recruitment administration, including the creation and posting of job adverts, overseeing the application process from reviewing applications to marking assessments and arranging interviews
8. Overseeing our recruitment inbox and answering candidate queries both via email and over the phone
9. Conducting telephone interviews and greeting candidates arriving for face-to-face interviews. You will play a central role in presenting a positive image of the company to applicants and should be dedicated to delivering excellent customer service
10. Headhunting and proactively reaching out to prospective candidates to boost our talent attraction efforts
11. Using your expertise (which you will develop over time in the role) to provide guidance and support to hiring managers regarding our talent acquisition strategies and candidate attraction methods
12. Organising, hosting and attending career fairs with universities and other professional or student-focussed organisations, as well as researching, booking and organising our attendance at these events. This will involve liaising with external suppliers and careers teams
13. Ensuring our recruitment procedures are fair, inclusive and comply with best practice
14. Ad-hoc tasks and projects in support of the wider People and Talent Acquisition function. Examples of which may include; supporting with diversity and inclusion projects, creating new features and content for our website, gathering feedback from new employees and other creative recruitment solutions
Our standard working week is hours, Monday to Friday, however, we can also consider applicants looking for part-time hours of 30 hours per week.

Requirements
About You
This role would be ideal for professionals with internal recruitment experience, or a recruitment agency background, who are now seeking a collaborative and impactful in-house role. However, experience as a Recruitment Consultant, Resourcer or a Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Administrator is not required for this role; we are also able to accept applications from candidates looking to start their career in this field.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a strong communicator with an interest in supporting the growth of a global company in collaboration with your hiring team. You should be proactive and eager to take on new challenges with a problem-solving mindset.

The Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process includes a proofreading task and written assessment for you to complete in your own time. If successful, you will be invited to an interview with senior members of our People (HR) team. Our standard recruitment process lasts around 2-3 weeks however, this can be adapted if necessary.
This role will ideally commence on 10th June 2024, however we have start dates available throughout 2024 which occur on a monthly basis. You will be asked to state your availability on your application form. Whilst there are no set application deadlines, we strongly recommend applying as early as possible so that we can begin processing your application.
