About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join vibrant and forward-thinking secondary schools in the Wolverhamptonarea. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about mathematics and committed to inspiring young learners across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
* Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to prepare students for GCSE exams.
* Monitor progress, set targets and plan interventions.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student achievement.
* Contribute to the development of departmental schemes of work and assessments.
* Maintain strong behaviour management strategies to support a safe and productive learning environment.
* Engage in school life, including attending staff meetings, CPD opportunities, and parent evenings.
Key Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 and KS4).
* Strong subject knowledge and ability to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
* High expectations of student progress and achievement.
* Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
