LOCATION: Newquay
Gateman Labourer required to join a commercial project in Newquay. The working hours are 07:30-17:00 Monday-Friday. Our client has advised this is an ongoing role
Key Responsibilities
Gateman Duties
1. Control and monitor entry and exit of all personnel, vehicles, and deliveries
2. Sign visitors in and out and check authorisation
3. Direct site traffic and deliveries safely
4. Maintain site security and report unauthorised access
5. Communicate with site management regarding deliveries and access issues
Labouring Duties
6. Assist trades and site supervisors with general labouring tasks
7. Load and unload materials and deliveries
8. Keep the site clean, tidy, and free from hazards
9. Move materials, tools, and equipment around the site
10. Assist with basic construction tasks as required
Health & Safety
11. Follow all site health and safety regulations
12. Wear and maintain required PPE at all times
13. Report hazards, incidents, or near misses immediately
14. Support safe working practices across the site
