Lionheart school is a pupil referral unit that supports some of the most vulnerable young people on the island. An exciting opportunity now exists for a Medical Lead Practitioner with a Current Clinical Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) to be part of our Senior Leadership team and to be responsible for managing the following areas:

* To lead on the production and maintenance of relevant policies and procedures.

Lionheart school provides a stimulating and nurturing environment for a range of students who for a variety of reasons are unable to attend mainstream schools. This could be due to medical needs, being emotionally vulnerable or having social and emotional difficulties.

The school aims to be a Trauma Informed and Therapeutic centre of excellence working with children their parents and home schools.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, creative individual who has high expectations of all children and what they can achieve. If you want to make a difference to children's lives, are enthusiastic and emotionally resilient then we want to hear from you. We can offer you a dedicated staff team and opportunities for excellent personal and career development.

In return we offer:

* The opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking school that supports and empowers some of the most vulnerable children on the Isle of Wight.
* Be part of a friendly, supportive, and talented staff team, committed to providing an excellent education for every child.
