Civil Engineer

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our client award-winning Civil and Structural team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in drainage and highway design, SuDS, Flood Risk Assessments, and earthworks. You will lead the technical delivery of civil engineering consultancy services across a range of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to our clients' high-quality standards.
Day to Day of the Role:
* Lead the technical delivery of civil engineering services from feasibility through to planning, detailed design, and construction.
* Work on a variety of projects including Housing, Commercial, Residential, and Extra Care developments.
* Utilise design-based software for innovative infrastructure solutions.
* Engage with both public and private sector projects, adhering to relevant UK design standards.
* Collaborate with a team of experienced technical staff to ensure project success.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* BEng, MEng, MSc, HND, or HNC in Civil Engineering.
* Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience within an engineering consultancy environment.
* Proficiency in producing drainage and highway drawings, design calculations, technical reports, and site appraisals.
* Knowledge of UK planning procedures and relevant design codes.
* Experience with technical software including AutoCAD, Microdrainage/Flow, Causeway Live/PDS/Civil 3D, and AutoTrack.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
