Job Title: Workshop Manager
Salary: £46,800
Hours: Week 1 - 5am to 2pm; Week 2 - 2pm to 10pm
Location: Livingston
A great opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Manager with a large transport company that has a sizable depot in the Livingston area.
The successful Workshop Manager will report directly to the Engineering Manager and will primarily focus on:
* Ensuring daily service targets are met and all maintenance tasks are completed to exacting standards.
* Communicating targets and action plans to staff each day via briefing sessions with an emphasis on improved reliability.
* Controlling daily workshop loading, monitoring H&S practices and ensuring buses are in top condition for our customers.
* Being responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of the busy depot location; ensuring premises are secure, cleaned and safe for staff and visitors.
The successful Workshop Manager must have the following skills and experience:
* Excellent technical ability in all aspects of PSV maintenance.
* Good communication skills to all levels of management and staff.
* Ability to work within agreed budgetary guidelines.
