Business Development Manager – Enterprise Infrastructure (Channel / IT Distribution)

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for accelerating growth across a defined portfolio of channel partners. Working closely with vendor and internal stakeholders, you’ll drive solution adoption, increase share of wallet, and execute joint business plans focused on enterprise infrastructure technologies.

Key Responsibilities

6. Build and develop strong commercial relationships with allocated channel partners
7. Create and execute partner growth plans aligned to vendor strategy
8. Drive adoption of enterprise infrastructure solutions, with a focus on storage and compute
9. Manage and support partner accreditations and programme alignment
10. Deliver against joint business plans in collaboration with vendor and internal teams
11. Support and execute targeted marketing and demand-generation campaigns
12. Maintain a strong field presence through regular partner and vendor meetings
13. Manage pipeline activity, forecasting, and opportunity progression
14. Drive opportunity development through to deal closure
15. Promote and manage incentive programmes within partner sales teams

What We’re Looking For

Essential

16. Proven track record in IT sales or business development
17. Experience working with channel partners or within a distribution or vendor ecosystem
18. Strong commercial mindset with evidence of delivering against targets and KPIs
19. Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
20. Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
21. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Advantageous

22. Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, storage, compute, networking, or hybrid IT
23. Experience building and executing joint business or partner plans
24. Background in high-performance or fast-paced sales environments
