You’ll work closely with the Site Manager and wider project teams, taking ownership of key engineering elements on site and playing a hands-on role in the successful delivery of projects — all within a supportive, safety-first and rewarding environment. The Role As Site Engineer, you will be central to the smooth running of site operations, ensuring accuracy, quality and progress at every stage of the build. Your responsibilities will include: * Construction Drawings: Reading, interpreting and clearly communicating drawings, layouts and material requirements on site * Setting Out & Surveying: Providing accurate lines, levels and reference points to ensure works are delivered right first time * Programme Management: Working to the site programme, influencing progress and supporting teams to meet key deadlines * Site Coordination: Managing subcontractors, materials and sequencing to keep works running efficiently * Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining site records, ITPs, as-built drawings and environmental documentation * SHEQ Excellence: Promoting and upholding the highest standards in safety, health, environmental and quality compliance * Team Development: Supporting and mentoring team members while building strong relationships with subcontractors * Continuous Improvement: Keeping up to date with industry best practice and contributing ideas to improve delivery * Governance: Adhering to the Integrated Management System (IMS) and company policies * General Duties: Carrying out any other tasks appropriate to the role What’s in It for You * Competitive salary with performance-related bonuses * Company vehicle and fuel card * Private medical insurance, life assurance & EAP * Enhanced family-friendly benefits and marriage leave * Additional holidays and long-service awards * Ongoing training, professional development and support for memberships * Clear career progression opportunities within a growing business * Regular social and team-building events What We’re Looking For Knowledge & Qualifications * Degree or third-level qualification in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or similar Experience * 5 years’ experience as a Site Engineer, ideally within residential builds and some commercial projects Skills * Strong numeracy and IT skills (MS Office packages) * Full, valid UK driving licence and relevant site cards Attributes * Highly organised and deadline-driven * Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable taking full ownership of your work * Able to lead by example, motivate teams and see projects through from start to finish If you’re an experienced Site Engineer looking to work on high-quality projects, within a company that values people, safety and progression, this could be the perfect next step in your career
