Become a Senior Digital Designer As a Senior Digital Designer, you will lead the creative development and execution of high-impact visual content across our digital platforms. You’ll play a key role in shaping the visual identity of the brand, mentoring designers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling, on-brand creative that resonates with our customers. Your Mission Lead the design, development and execution of daily campaign emails, incorporating animation, personalisation, and segmentation using dynamic content blocks. Design and build automated email journeys including welcome, winback, post-purchase, replenishment, and abandonment flows, while delivering seasonal updates tailored to customer behaviour and purchase history to drive engagement. Design and produce engaging, platform-optimised creative assets for organic and paid social media, supporting brand fame, audience growth, and campaign performance through rich media, influencer content, and trend-led storytelling. Collaborate across the Design Studio to ensure consistency in design across all digital touchpoints and contribute to the evolution of our visual identity. Collaborate with marketing, CRM, digital, social and our buying teams to deliver impactive, cohesive and on-brand digital content. Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, adapting communication style for technical and non-technical audiences. Lead on design testing functionality and export file types to maintain quality standards. Champion accessibility and inclusive design, demonstrating knowledge of WCAG standards. Own the accessibility within your designs including inputting web links, alt text and develop HMTL. Optimise designs, helping the business to stay ahead of design trends, tools and techniques to keep our brand fresh and relevant. Utilise analytics and user feedback to iterate and optimise digital assets. Conduct or collaborate on user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions. Manage, support and mentor digital designers through line management, including setting objectives and measuring against them, signing-off designs, providing feedback and fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture. Improve ways of working, manage workload, and support the development of efficient team structures and processes. Contribute to the development and maintenance of our digital design system and documentation. Skills/Behaviours That Will Set You Apart A strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of creative work across digital channels. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro). Excellent layout, typography, animation and visual storytelling skills. Proven graphic design expertise including image editing, animation and composition. Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS, with proficiency in responsive design and accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG). Experience designing and building email campaigns and automated journeys, with familiarity in email marketing platforms such as Ometria, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Braze. Proficiency in email design tools and prototyping platforms (e.g. Figma, Sketch, InVision). Understanding of dynamic content and personalisation in email design. Knowledge of email best practices including deliverability, segmentation, and behavioural targeting. Experience with video editing and basic animation for digital assets and email campaigns. Solid grasp of UX/UI principles and digital design best practices. Experience working with brand guidelines and evolving brand identities. Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system. Strong project management and organisational abilities, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience conducting or collaborating on user research and usability testing. Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to inform design decisions. Good understanding of channel constraints, browser compatibility, and inclusive design. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design concepts to non-design stakeholders. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
