Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
Salary: £30,000 per annum + Future Commission Opportunities
The Opportunity
Cathay Investments is a diverse and growing global group. As we expand our internal support structures, we are looking for a dedicated Sales Desk Coordinator to join our Group Head Office in Croydon.
In this role, you will be the central point of coordination for our UK commercial operations, representing two of our leading brands: Lantor (cable and composite products) and Euroresins (distribution for the composite industry). As our Sales Desk Coordinator, you will act as the essential bridge between our global sales managers, our customers, and our production facilities in the Netherlands.
Your Role as Sales Desk Coordinator
Working within our professional 20-person head office alongside our Directors and Finance teams, the Sales Desk Coordinator is the "anchor" of our sales process. Your day will involve a mix of high-level customer service, technical quoting, and international liaison.
Key Responsibilities:
Central Coordination: Act as the primary interface between global sales managers and the Netherlands production team.
Order Management: As Sales Desk Coordinator, you will take full ownership of the customer journey, processing orders via phone and email accurately into Sage 200.
Pricing & Quoting: Work closely with Sales Managers to prepare accurate quotes and price agreements for existing customers.
Logistics Liaison: You will be responsible for raising export and shipping documents within the system. A basic understanding of Incoterms is vital for this part of the Sales Desk Coordinator role.
Customer Excellence: Proactively manage account segments, providing updates on lead times and delivery status to ensure world-class service.

Communication: You are a natural communicator who thrives in a "center-of-the-action" environment.
Technical Aptitude: You don’t need a background in composites—we provide full product training. We just need a Sales Desk Coordinator who is eager to learn.
System Savvy: Proficiency in Sage 200 is a major advantage, alongside strong general IT literacy.
Logistics Awareness: You understand the mechanics of international shipping and are comfortable handling the associated system documentation.
