About the role
* Lead site inspections and audits to identify and correct hazards, and flag training requirements.
* Support site teams by preparing and reviewing paperwork such as pre‑start SHEQ files, Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, COSHH Assessments, Inductions and Toolbox Talks.
* Assist with incident reporting, investigations and accident trend analysis.
* Aid administration of Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 27001 & 45001).
* Maintain documents for Health & Safety accreditations.
* Monitor subcontractors on‑site.
* Attend SHEQ and site meetings.
* Adhere to the Integrated Management System (IMS) and policies.
* Perform other tasks as required.

Your knowledge, experience & skills
* Relevant NVQ H&S qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Construction Certificate).
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar role and construction environment.
* Experience with ISO auditing & accreditation.
* Full driving licence.
* Excellent communication skills and strong construction‑based knowledge.
