THIS IS A 5 PA POST - NOT FULL TIME
We require an enthusiastic Locum Consultant Radiologist to join our team of 23 Substantive Consultant Radiologists. The appointee will be primarily based at either Eastbourne DGH or Conquest Hospital Hastings, although this may change dependent on service need.
The Radiology Departments are actively involved in teaching with four radiology trainees on rotation from HEKSS deanery. Audit and other continuing professional developmental activities are positively encouraged.

Responsibilities
* Demonstrate a high level of clinical experience and competence in General Radiology.
* Develop subspecialty areas of interest in addition to core skills and participate in the development of Radiology services.
* Be involved in teaching, audit and continuing professional development activities.
* Provide on-call support: first line on-call is provided by SpR or staff grade radiologists until 10pm weekdays and 5pm weekends, with on-call outsourced to a reporting company overnight.
* Our General Radiology consultant team is responsible for checking scans the following day to ensure quality assurance and education on a 1 in 8 rota; daytime cover is provided for a Malignant cord compression MRI at weekends on the same 1 in 8 rota.
Qualifications
* Full GMC registration.
* Enthusiastic, experienced Radiologist with competence in General Radiology; development of subspecialty interests encouraged.
