Role Overview
We are seeking a Non‑Executive Director (NED) to provide independent oversight, strategic challenge, and governance leadership. This role is ideal for a senior professional with experience in complex, data‑driven environments who wants to shape an early‑stage platform at board level without day‑to‑day operational responsibilities.
You will work closely with the founder to ensure strong governance, strategic clarity, and responsible scaling.
Key Responsibilities
Provide independent strategic challenge on platform development, data strategy, and long‑term direction.
Strengthen governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks as the platform scales.
Guide analytics, reporting, and performance measurement frameworks to support evidence‑based decision‑making.
Offer external perspective on product direction, user experience, and merchant value propositions.
Participate in quarterly board meetings and ad‑hoc strategic sessions.
Act as a trusted sounding board to the founder on key decisions, partnerships, and organisational priorities.
Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and user trust.
Ideal Experience
Senior leadership experience in analytics, digital platforms, healthcare systems, consumer products, or large‑scale operational environments.
Strong understanding of data governance, reporting frameworks, and performance optimisation.
Experience leading or advising digital transformation or technology‑enabled service delivery.
Ability to challenge constructively, think strategically, and maintain independence of judgement.
Comfortable operating in a fast‑evolving, early‑stage environment.
