We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated office administrator to join our team and contribute to the efficient operation of our food wholesale distribution business.
As an office administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting various administrative functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and enhancing our overall business performance.
Duties:
* Perform general clerical duties - calls, emails, posting etc.
* Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system of company records
* Answer and direct phone calls
* Assist in project coordination and management
* Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
* Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repairs within the business
* Provide personal assistant support to executives as required
* Oversight of company expenses and billing cycles
* Managing all vehicle related issues, i.e booking in for servicing, tracking fuel expenses etc
* Use of Xero
* Use of Bright HR
* Calendar management
Essential Qualifications/experience
* Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or similar role
* Proficient in Google Sheets (Docs, Spreadsheets, Forms etc)
* Experience in any accounting software xero
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Advantageous:
If you own a driving license and have large van driving experience
Warehousing experience
Food safety experience
Understanding of different faith groups
