Benefits & Revenues Officer

£27,254 – £28,598 per annum | Full Time | Permanent

As a Benefits & Revenues Officer at Torridge District Council you will be responsible for the timely and accurate assessment of claims for Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, and assist with the administration and collection of Council Tax; therefore attention to detail and the ability to digest complex rules and regulations is important to us. Whilst relevant knowledge and experience is desirable, full and extensive training on Benefits Legislation and the Council Tax Support scheme will be provided.

We pride ourselves on the excellent delivery of our service; as the first point of contact for customers it is essential for the successful applicant to have excellent communication and customer service skills.

This role will require a DBS check.
