Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist
Rate: £28 per hour

Job Summary
As a qualified Occupational Therapist, you will operate autonomously within a robust framework, adhering to professional codes of conduct and ethics while managing a complex caseload. Your role will encompass clinical activities across diverse settings, ensuring you provide tailored interventions to enhance your clients' quality of life. You'll be a pivotal resource for your department, contributing specialist knowledge, engaging in service development, research, and more.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to designing referral processes and assess the appropriateness of received referrals, making informed decisions about delegation.
* Manage your caseload efficiently, adapting to changing clinical presentations and patient circumstances.
* Drive coordinated care planning, leading teams, and allocating responsibilities.
* Employ specialist assessment and intervention techniques to enhance clients' occupational performance in various life areas.
* Use your judgement in multi-disciplinary diagnostics, selecting appropriate evaluation methods.
Qualifications
* HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist.
* Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
* Demonstrated experience in UK Hospital or NHS settings.
* Community experience is essential.
