Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Pay rate: £95-£115 Per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking an engaging Learning Support Assistant to work with schools in Sunderland, providing classroom support to students across a range of abilities and needs.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support learning activities, provide targeted help to students, and contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can succeed.
Main Duties of LSA:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to students.
* Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and completing tasks.
* Support students with varying abilities, including those with additional needs.
* Help maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
* Encourage student participation, confidence, and independence.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
