Signature Recruitment is working with our client, a well-established organisation, to find an experienced Governance Manager. This is an interim opportunity where you'll step into a well-organised role with established systems, processes, and quarterly planners - you just need to pick up the reins.
As Governance Manager, you'll manage quarterly board meetings and audit committee meetings in a well-structured environment. You'll need to feel confident managing complex regulatory frameworks independently while influencing and persuading colleagues with a can-do attitude. The ability to work with some ambiguity and exercise sound judgement is essential.
Governance Manager Key Responsibilities:
1. Be the gatekeeper for all regulatory and statutory requirements including FCA, Companies House, ICO, Regulator for Social Housing, and Building Safety Regulator filings et al.
2. Manage quarterly board meetings and audit committee meetings - from agenda setting to minute-taking and follow up actions
3. Handle all company secretarial duties: maintaining registers, organising deed signings, corporate filings and board member appointments/removals
