Responsibilities
* Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients as directed by the chef.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces.
* Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met at all times.
* Support the serving staff by preparing and plating dishes for service.
* Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager.
* Engage with guests when necessary, providing excellent guest services and upselling menu items where appropriate.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods, demonstrating effective time management skills.
