Role Description
We are seeking a talented Freelance Magazine Designer(s) who will be responsible for creating visually engaging and professional magazine layouts, selecting and editing images, formatting text, and ensuring adherence to branding guidelines. This role involves collaboration with editors, writers, and the marketing team to design publication content that aligns with the company's vision. The Magazine Designer will also stay informed about design trends and maintain high-quality standards for both print and digital formats.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
* Strong skills in layout design, typography, and color theory
* Experience in digital and print design, including creating mobile-optimized and responsive digital editions
* Attention to detail and the ability to proofread and ensure accuracy in design projects
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Experience in the publishing industry or working with magazines is highly desirable
