We are seeking a motivated and reliable Sous Chef to join our team and take on an important leadership role within our kitchen. As Sous Chef, you will be accountable for the smooth running of back-of-house (BOH) operations and will assume full responsibility for the kitchen during service.
Working closely with the Head Chef, you will ensure that every aspect of kitchen operations meets our high standards, from food preparation and plating to staff performance and overall kitchen organization. You'll be responsible for supporting the team, maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen, and helping to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellent food quality and service.

Main Responsibilities
* Ensure the smooth and efficient running of kitchen operations, overseeing food quality and consistency.
* Manage food stock, monitor kitchen equipment, and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
* Conduct monthly stock takes, manage orders and deliveries, control food waste, and oversee daily food management.
* Monitor and evaluate food quality, ensuring consistency in presentation and taste, and make necessary adjustments.
* Implement the restaurant's food philosophy, seasonal menus, and food safety regulations in collaboration with the Head Chef.
* Ensure team adherence to procedures and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
* Train and develop kitchen staff, providing clear guidance and performance feedback.
* Address performance issues and apply disciplinary procedures when necessary.
* Maintain a positive, collaborative atmosphere, fostering teamwork and high morale.
* Lead by example to create a productive, clean, and organized kitchen environment while delivering excellent food and service.
